Our non-profit work at AMA mainly revolves around supporting underprivileged students during their 4 years at the University of Education in Ho Chi Minh City, Danang City, and Hue City of Vietnam.  These students are studying to become teachers – the future educators of Vietnam.  Typically, they are smart, hard-working, and determined to succeed in life despite coming from extremely challenging circumstances, including poverty, disabilities, discrimination, and other types of complications in life.  We believe in helping those who can really use our help, who are deserving and potentially at the fringe of society, and who will rise up one day and give back to others through their profession and compassion.

 

During our selection process, we adhere to high academic criteria and require our candidates to submit personal essays, certificate of poverty, and all other relevant school records.  We select our recipients carefully after conducting through face-to-face interviews at the university campuses.  After joining the AMA family, our scholarship recipients also need to maintain a respectable GPA, and are highly encouraged to participate in our activities and programs through the 4 years at the universities.
